Ecobank Malawi on Saturday hosted a pre-Easter Fiesta Swipe, Dip and Win at the Clocktower Mall in Blantyre.
The event presented an opportunity for the bank to showcase its payment solutions, but also reinforced its commitment to providing exceptional customer service in line with its overarching brand campaign dubbed ‘A better way, a better Africa’.
During the event, Ecobank Malawi some customers who used their Ecobank cards or non-Ecobank cards for transactions at the mall won instant prizes ranging from trolley dashes, shopping vouchers, XpressCash tokens and branded items.
New customers who opened Ecobank accounts also participated in the promotion.
In an interview, Ecobank Malawi head of payments and cash management Douglas Luka said: “Our Swipe, Dip and Win fiesta not only delivered an unforgettable experience to our customers, but also highlighted the efficiency and security of our payment systems.
“The Ecobank super point of sale, with its contactless chip and PIN, and EcobankPay QR capabilities, represent our commitment to providing a better, more convenient banking experience for Malawians.”
Bester Shawa, one of the winners of the K500 000 trolley dash, expressed excitement with the win.
“It is not just about the prizes. It is how Ecobank makes banking convenient and rewarding for us.”
Another winner, Monica Manjolo, said: “I was thrilled to win a K250 000 trolley dash.
“Ecobank’s initiatives like these make me proud to be a customer.”
