DPP to hold media briefing today amid blue parade call off

The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is this afternoon scheduled to hold a media briefing at Golden Peacock Hotel in the capital Lilongwe.

The development comes barely hours after the party called off the blue parade which was scheduled for today in the capital Lilongwe.

According to a statement seen by this publication, Member of Parliament for Thyolo Thava Mary Navicha who was appointed on the post of leader of opposition to replace Kondwani Nankhumwa is scheduled to chair the brief.

Navicha will be franked by Dr. George Chaponda, DPP Vice President for Eastern region Bright Msaka, Jappie Mhango and others.
