The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is today scheduled to hold a National Governing Council (NGC) meeting at Nkopola Lodge in Mangochi ahead of its elective conference.

The NGC meeting will be presided over by former President Peter Mutharika who is also leader of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

Delegates have since started arriving at the venue and some of the notable faces already at Nkopola Lodge includes; Veteran Politician Keneth Msonda, DPP Vice President for the North Jappie Mhango, Chimwemwe Chipungu and DPP Administrative Secretary Francis Mphepo.
