The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has once again shifted the mega rally slated for Nyambadwe Ground in the commercial capital Blantyre.
According to information at hand, the rally will now be held July end.
Initially, the rally was slated for this coming Saturday July 9, 2022 and the rally was scheduled to be presided over by Dr. George Chaponda who was recently elected as leader of opposition replacing Kondwani Nankhumwa.
DPP’s regional governor for the South Charles Mchacha has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
The first poster showed that former President Peter Mutharika will attend the rally but after the shift to July 9 things also change.
DPP is currently rocked up in leadership crisis with two camps fighting.
