DODMA DISTRIBUTES RELIEF ITEMS TO 203 HOUSEHOLDS IN SALIMA

The Department of Disaster Management Affairs (DODMA) has distributed relief items to one of the twenty districts that were affected by the rainstorms in November this year.

DODMA distributed the items in Salima District.

The district Relief and rehabilitation officer, Gloria Chinangwa, said each family that was affected by the heavy rains has benefited from DODMA.

According to Chinangwa, each family has received 50kg bag of maize and a 10 meter plastic sheet for temporary shelter.

DODMA said more than 27,000 households have been affected in several parts of the country.
