Deputy Headteacher Kidnapped, Poisoned, and Killed: Police Hunt for Suspects in Thyolo

Thyolo Police deputy publicist, Rabecca Kashoti has confirmed the hunt for four unknown criminals who allegedly kidnapped, poisoned and killed a deputy headteacher for Mapanga primary school, Peter Sukali, 33.

Kashoti said Sukali who was secretary for Thyolo district education sports committee was called by an unknown person that he was late for a sports event at Thyolo Adorolata school ground before being taken.

She continued that from his hospital bed, the deceased narrated his ordeal, which police are now treating as leads to apprehend the suspects who forced him to drink the poison.

Postmortem from Thyolo district hospital shows the teacher died of acute poisoning.

The police have since asked anyone with information of whereabouts of suspects to provide them with details.
