Photos that  have gone viral on the internet have captured a moment some demonstrators were going away with basins after looting in shops in Lilongwe.

The development follows heavy violence in the capital city following failed demos organized by Human Rights Ambassadors.

The protestors have closed down M1 road, burnt tires, patted stones on police in return, police have fired teargas.

Meanwhile, police have arrested the organizers of demos.
