Demos Calling Govt To Act On Social-Economic Challenges Starts in Lilongwe

Reports reaching our desk indicate that demonstrations calling  government to solve socio-economic challenges the country is facing are underway in Lilongwe.

The demos have been organised by a civil society organisation under the banner ‘The voice of the voiceless’.

The organisation wants the President Lazarus Chakwera’s administration to address the struggling economy, blackouts, shortage of forex, shortage of fuel and many other challenges.

The demonstrators are expected to deliver petition at Lilongwe district commissioner’s office.

More to come…
