Demonstrators Threaten To Keep Protesting If Chakwera Fails To Address Their Concerns In 48 Hours

Protesters in Thyolo have threatened continued protests if President Lazarus Chakwera does not start to address their concerns within 48 hours.

In a petition delivered to Thyolo District Commissioner Douglas Moffat, Lead organiser Blessings Makwinja read demands for; President Chakwera to trim his powers, desist from selective justice for alleged corruption beneficiaries of Zuneth Sattar and devise policies to cushion measures to high cost of living, among others.

Business which halted, has now normalised.
