The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has expelled Nicholas Dausi from the party with immediate effect.

A press statement released on 3rd September signed by party spokesperson Shadric Namalomba says the decision follows a recommendation from the disciplinary committee.

“This follows a recommendation by the disciplinary committee and a decision by the Central Executive Committee of the party which found Hon.

Dausi guilty of three misconducts contrary to Article 6(1) (vii) and (viii) of the DPP constitution,” reads the statement.

However, Dausi ceases to be the party’s member of parliament and its  publicity secretary
