Mwanza Central Constituency Member of Parliament Nicholas Dausi has said he was fired from the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) for asking for development from the Tonse Alliance government.

Dausi said this during a public rally in Mwanza where President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is gracing the ceremony.

“I was fired from the opposition DPP for asking for the construction of Mwanza Stadium which your are launching today. They fired me because asked your government to construct a better market here in Mwanza.

“Kodi ine nkadachita mwano kuchitira a pulezidenti, zitukukozi zikadabwera?”, said Dausi.

Dausi was fired together with DPP former Vice President for the South Kondwani Nankhumwa, Grezelder Jeffrey and Zomba Chisi MP Mark Botomani.

The senior officials are accused of hold a national governing council (NGC) meeting without the blessings of the DPP leadership.
