CYCLONE FREDDY HELPED 22 SUSPECTS TO ESCAPE FROM POLICE CUSTODY IN PHALOMBE

Almost Twenty two suspects who were in police custody at Phalombe Police Station have escaped  when the facility was being submerged in water due to flash floods caused by Cyclone Freddy.
National Police  Spokesperson, Peter Kalaya, has confirmed the development by saying that the suspects took advantage of the floods to tamper with the cell door and managed to escape.
The fled the suspects are answering murder, robbery and other charges
Meanwhile, the law enforcers are working hard to re-arrest the suspects but some are still under their custody.
