Senior Chief Makhuwira criticized The Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (ADMARC) for the food shortage in the area, citing a year-long failure to supply maize.
The chief highlighted suffering among residents due to inadequate food provisions.
Admarc spokesperson Agnes Ndovie pledged to address the issue by supplying maize to local depots next week.
