Court Resumes Trial of Ex-PEA Accused of Defiling and Impregnating 16-Year-Old Girl in Neno

The Neno First Grade Magistrate court has resumed the trial of former Primary Education Advisor (PEA), Benito Mpapa, who is accused of defiling and impregnating a 16-year-old girl.

The court adjourned briefly to allow Mpapa’s lawyer, Fredson Banda of Macken and Associates, to present his legal practicing license.

However, the latest list of legal practitioners for 2022 to 2023 does not include Banda’s name, as confirmed by First Grade Magistrate Margaret Khobili.
