Zomba Chief Resident Magistrate Austin Banda has reserved to Tuesday, his ruling on a bail application made by a Pakistan national and four Malawians, who are being accused of illegally possessing a pangolin in Mangochi.

Presiding Magistrate Banda made the ruling when the case resumed on Friday.

Jai Banda, who is lawyer for the Pakistan national, Ali Muhammad, reapplied for bail of his client on Friday at the court in Zomba arguing that his client has been unwell for some time.
