Court Fines K100,000 To Three Men For Stealing A Motorcycle For Ntcheu Hospital

First Grade Magistrate court in Ntcheu have ordered three men to pay a fine of K60,000 or in default spend 30 months in prison each, for conspiracy and K40000 each or in default to serve for 20 months for stealing a motorcycle belonging to Ntcheu district hospital.
The three have been identified as  Harry Kamuuzeni 33 years, Francis Chikaonda aged 27 and Omar Sadic 29.
According to Ntcheu Police spokesperson Rabecca Ndiwate, State prosecutor James Luwani told the court that on March 19, 2023 the three conspired and stole a motorcycle Yamaha DT 175 belonging to Ntcheu district hospital, which was parked within the hospital premises, valued at K4 million.
Appearing before court, First Grade Magistrate Chimdima Phiri  sentenced the three to pay fine.
