Community Policing in Thyolo Intercept 10 Bags of Relief Maize Suspected of Misappropriation

Community policing members in Gubudu village, under the leadership of chairperson Laston James, intercepted 10 bags of relief maize.

The seizure occurred during the transit of the maize from Changata to the Kapichi area by an individual identified as Kambalame.

The incident unfolded after the distribution of maize to communities facing hunger at Changata headquarters on Tuesday.

Thyolo district commissioner, Hudson Kuphanga, expressed his intention to conduct an inquiry into the matter.
