Chief Resident Magistrate Jean Kaira in Blantyre is today 1st March 2022 expected to make her ruling on whether or not to commence criminal proceedings against Martha Chizuma, Director General of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB).

This follows an application by Forum for National Development (FND) for the court to summon Chizuma to answer criminal charges in relation to a leaked audio conversation between her and an unknown male person.

According to Gladys Gondwe, Registrar of the High Court and Supreme Court of Appeal said the court has already heard the application.
