The Lilongwe High Court has on Monday adjourned to a later date a case in which Director-General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Martha Chizuma is seeking review of a court order which was made against her in Mzuzu over a leaked audio clip.

When the court met, the defense lawyers wanted to cross-examine Chizuma a call to which the applicants’ team objected and was agreed to by the court.

Chizuma’s lawyer, Martha Kaukonde argued that cross-examination would mean the beginning of a trial and not a review.

The defense lawyer Michael Goba Chipeta said they will wait for the court to determine the review
