Irate residence of Chiwembe Monday morning closed the road between their area and Limbe Township to force Pacific Limited to unblock stagnant water along the road at its Warehouses.

Residence say twice through their leaders have engaged officials of Pacific Limited but to avail.

One of the residents Mustafa Yunusi said for a long time the drainage system has been blocked after the construction of warehouses forcing pedestrians to walk in a dam of water on the road.

When contacted Grant Chimenya, Pacific Limited Estates Manager assured the residents that the drainage will be rehabilitated immediately.

Meanwhile vehicles are passing through the premises of Pacific Limited to access either sides.
