Chiradzulu Police Arrest 19-Year-Old for K1 Million Theft of Household Items

In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old man has been arrested in Chiradzulu district for allegedly breaking into a house and stealing various household items worth K1 million.

The suspect has been identified as Madalitso Cosmas, who hails from Masamba village, Traditional Authority Mpama in Chiradzulu district.

According to the district police spokesperson, Constable Cosmass Kagulo, the suspect allegedly broke into the house of a Data Clerk at Chiradzulu district hospital and made off with various electronic gadgets, a solar panel, and some clothes.

The theft was reported to the police, who launched an investigation into the matter.

During the investigation, law enforcement officers were able to recover some of the stolen items from the suspect, including a Sum sang plasma screen, a supersonic soundbar, an electric fan, a solar panel, a Go TV set, and a handbag.

The suspect has been arrested and is expected to appear in court soon to face charges of burglary and theft.

The police have urged members of the public to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activities in their neighborhoods.
