Mary Chilima, wife to State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima on Thursday cheered victims of Cyclone Freddy in Chiradzulu, Ndirande and Machinjiri Township in Blantyre.

In all these places, Mary Chilima was accompanied by Secretary General of the United Transformation Movement (UTM) and other party top officials.

The wife to the Vice President donated various items including maize flour, blankets, soap, Sugar, buckets and Soya pieces.

Speaking after Ndirande Matope camp, Chilima’s wife hailed hospital officials for the support rendered to flood victims.

She also urged well wishers to join hands in supporting the displaced families across the Southern part of the country.
