Vice President Saulos Chilima is expected to hold a round table discussion with secondary school auxiliary teachers over their demand for permanent recruitment as there contract is expected to end this month.
According to Chairperson for the auxiliary teachers, Victoria Pwele, they are are delighted to have been accorded an audience with the vice president, saying they expect that their grievances will be addressed after the meeting.
Over one thousand auxiliary teachers demand to be employed.
Meanwhile, the teachers will still proceed with their planned vigils at state house from Friday this week until government addresses their demand.
