Vice President Saulos Chilima who is also the president for United Transformation Movement (UTM) has said that the agreement between him and President Lazarus Chakwera will be made public soon.

Chilima made the revelations on Friday during a press briefing with the media as he flew out of the country to United States.

Prior to June 23, 2020 fresh presidential elections Chilima and Chakwera had agreements which were never public but just for the two of them.

Malawians and other officials from the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) have been asking the duo to come in the open and share with Malawians what the agreed, but to no avail.

Chilima’s revelations come at a time when rumors have it that the relationship between him and the president is not good, assertions both parties have vehemently denied.
