Vice President Saulos Chilima on Thursday invaded the evergreen city of Mzuzu ahead of today’s Martyrs Day Commemoration in style as he left people who gathered at the roundabout digesting two proverbs he clacked.

He arrived in the city accompanied by his wife Mary Chilima.

Using his proverbial expressions, Chilima asked the people to always understand situations before acting.

He said: “khoswe wanzeru sadya mtedza wa mbewu… Kuchidimadima kunapangitsa mwana wa mbuzi kuyamwa tonde.”

Chilima is today scheduled to grace this year’s Martyrs Day Commemoration to be held in Nkhata Bay on behalf of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera who is in Qatar.
