President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera on Tuesday visited the grave site of the late Senior Chief Mponda of Mangochi District.

The late Senior Chief succumbed to High Blood Pressure at the age of 98 last month.

Chakwera missed the burial ceremony due to other engagements then.

The President in the eastern district for official engagement and today is scheduled to launch the tree planting season.
