Malawi leader President Lazarus Chakwera will today deliver State of Nation Address (SONA) at the opening of the fifth meeting of the 49th session of Parliament in Lilongwe.
Speaker of the National Assembly Catherine Gotani Hara has confirmed through a press statement in which she said the president is expected to arrive at the Parliament Chamber at 10 am this morning.
As a lot is being expected in Chakwera’s speech today, Malawians and development partners are looking forward to hear how Chakwera led administration will tackle the issue of corruption.
Adding to that Malawians are also eagerly waiting to see if Chakwera will address the issue of alleged fallout between him and his vice Saulos Chilima and the Divisions among Tonse Alliance Partners.
