Barely days after branding President Lazarus Chakwera’s critics as ‘frogs’, Energy Minister Ibrahim Matola, has been delegated by President Chakwera to represent Malawians {Frogs} at OPEC Fund for International Development Forum in Austria.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nancy Tembo confirmed the development through a presser held on Monday in Lilongwe.  

She said President Chakwera has delegated Matola as part of austerity measures he {Chakwera} announced last week.

According to Tembo, Minister of Water Abida Mia will accompany Matola while her {Tembo} will represent President Chakwera at Commonwealth heads of state and government meetings in Rwanda.
