Chakwera meets Hetherwick Ntaba amid rumours of his defection to MCP

Rumors have it that former special advisor of ex-President Peter Mutharika on local policies, Hetherwick Ntaba has dumped the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) silently.

It is said that Ntaba has joined the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).

The rumours follow a photo of Ntaba shaking hands with President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera during a state function in the capital Lilongwe recently.

Ntaba, fondly known as the computer is yet to comment on the rumours.

He once served as Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) spokesperson under the reign of former President late Bingu wa Mutharika.
