President Lazarus Chakwera, will tomorrow depart Malawi for Saudi Arabia and Egypt, where he will attend several meetings.

The Minister of Information, Moses Kunkuyu confirmed this at a media briefing in Lilongwe.

According to the minister, in Saudi Arabia, Chakwera will attend the 5th African- Arab summit where he will engage Arab investors in different sectors like Agriculture, trade and road infrastructure.

In Egypt, Chakwera will attend the Intra- Africa Trade Fair.

The First Saudi-Africa Summit and the 5th Arab -Africa Summit will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the 10th and 11th of November 2023, while the AFREXIMBANK Intra–Africa Trade Summit will be held in Cairo, Egypt, on the 13th of November 2023.
