President Lazarus Chakwera has arrived in Mzuzu through the Mzuzu Airport. He is expected to undertake various engagements during his stay in the Northern City.

A statement signed by Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) Collen Zamba, shows that Chakwera’s engagements will start on Wednesday at Mzuzu University (Mzuni).

“His Excellency, Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi and the Chancellor of the Mzuzu University (Mzuni) will preside over; Commemoration of Mzuzu University silver jubilee celebrations and 25th Congregation of Mzuzu University on Wednesday September 6, 2023 at Mzuzu University,”reads part of the statement.

Several supporters of political parties in the Tonse Alliance welcomed Chakwera at the Airport.
