A photo of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera kneeling before a child after a rally in Mchinji District has stirred debate on social media with some praising the President.

The picture was taken yesterday when President Chakwera toured Tembwe Agricultural Development and Marketing Company (ADMARC) center in Mchinji.

In the picture, Chakwera is seen showering praises to the child after an impressive performance during the Ingoma dance.

Commenting on the photo Minister of Unity Timothy Pagonachi Mtambo described the gesture shown by the President Chakwera as ‘priceless’.

Concurring with Mtambo’s remarks Christopher Daniel Kenala wrote: “Izii abale ndazisilila aPule chikondi muli nacho chochokha pansi pamtima. i am proud of you always.”
