President Lazarus Chakwera has said he has fulfilled most of the promises he made through the Chakwera Super Hi-5, within two years of his leadership.

Chakwera said this at Kumuzu Palace in the capital Lilongwe when he received a US$14 million Agricultural Insurance Payout from the African Development Bank through the African Risk Capacity.

In his speech Chakwera said is practicing servant leadership by prioritising the needs of Malawians through programs like Agricultural Insurance.

He said he has not used the presidency to stifle institutions and that he has united Malawians by deploying development to all parts of the country.

Chakwera’s remarks have attracted backlash with many Malawians criticizing the President.
