Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that Central Poultry employee identified as Catherine Kwerani Sathawa has died after being insulted by her boss.

Sister to the deceased confirmed of the development, saying burial of the deceased took place on Monday at her home village.

“This is my sister. Her name is Catherine Kwerani Sathawa and she was working at Central Poultry. She died during an argument at her work place, maliro tayika Monday.

“Post-mortem revealed that my sister died of provoked cardiac arrest. Catherine had an argument with her boss at work then immediately had cardiac arrest and died on the spot,” reads in part the message seen by this publication.

Added the message: “As much as I am hurt, I would like to send a message to all bosses to treat their employees with love and never use words that hurt them.

“My sister was not physically abused , but was hurt with words. I will keep mourning her. May her soul rest in peace.”

Central Poultry Company is yet to comment on the matter.
