Facebook page for Center for Democracy and Economic Development Initiatives (CDEDI) has bee hacked by unknown individuals and all the administrators of the page have been removed.

CDEDI confirmed of the development in a press statement available to this publication.

CDEDI Executive Director Sylvester Namiwa has therefore cautioned followers of the page to regard everything being posted on the page as fake.

According to Namiwa efforts are being done to recover the page from the hackers.

CDEDI is one of the vocal civil rights groups that caution the way government is operating in the country.
