A Catholic Priest identified as Rev Fr. Isaac Achi was on the early hours of Sunday (15th January, 2023; around 1AM) shot several times and also burnt alive by bandits.

The Priest met his fate at his house located at Saints Peter’s and Paul’s Catholic Church, Kafin Koro.

Fr. Achi was the Parish Priest & Dean of Kafin Koro Deanery, Catholic Diocese of Minna- Niger State (Northcentral Nigeria).

While his associate Rev Fr. Colins Omeh sustained severe bullets’ wounds, but was able to escape. And he is currently receiving treatment.

The bandits operated for over two hours inside the Church premises.
