Castel Malawi limited has once again hiked the prices of Malawi Gin and Vodka from Mk7,000 to MK9,000 with effect from December 21, 2022.

According to information at hand, the company has attributed the hike to the rise in cost of importing materials.

“We would like to notify you that with effect from December 21, 2022 we will be adjusting upwards the prices of Malawi Gin and Malawi Vodka 750mls. This increase is an impact of the high import costs on materials which has affected the costs of the spirit bottles and the overall production and distribution,” reads in part the statement.

However, Castel Malawi Limited has maintained the prices of Premier Brandy at MK12, 000.00.
