Social media influencers has called for balancing sharing of relief items to Tropical Cyclone Freddy victims.

The plea has come as different stakeholders in the country are running up and down complementing government’s efforts to help people affected by Cyclone Freddy.

One of the country’ Social media influencer Gerald Chavez Kampanikiza (GCK), said that he has received some concerns that the focus has been on a few districts when there are many that needs help.

Kampanikiza noted that districts like Nsanje, Chikwawa, Chiradzulu, Neno among others many people are still trapped as many of them are sleeping literally on the floor in evacuation camps.

According to Kampanikiza, there has been several people in his inbox asking for help as they are stuck right now

“Help us reach to the relevant authorities because it’s like we have been forgotten,” said one individual through GCK in-box.

However, the influencers has commended on the effort everyone is putting to make life easy for brothers and sisters who have been affected, therefore asking for equal distribution of items in all the 13 districts that have been affected by the cyclone
