Blantyre residents have a reason to smile as the Blantyre Water Board (BWB) have confirmed the completion works of restoring water distribution pipes that were damaged Cyclone Freddy.
BWB chief executive officer Robert Hanjahanja has said that diverted resources from other projects to the restoration works, saying if some areas are experiencing supply challenges, it is because of technical faults not related to the cyclone.
Hanjahanja has also said that the assessment is underway to determine how much money has been used towards the restoration.
