The Lilongwe Chief Resident Magistrate Court has adjourned to July 17, 2024 an extradition case involving Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary.
The adjournment follows the unavailability of the state lead lawyer in the case Dzikondianthu Malunda who is reportedly unwell.
Today, lawyers representing Bushiri were scheduled to continue cross examining the state witness in the case Sibongire Mzinyathi from South Africa.
Bushiri and his wife Mary are accused of money laundering in South Africa and they want the Bushiris to be extradited.
