Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) Church has opted for silence on move taken by Onesimus, real name, Armstrong Kalua, to quit Major 1 Records for unknown reason.

Onesmus announced his resignation this morning on his official Facebook page saying the move is a bid to expand his musical reach aimed to accommodate all masses.

The ‘Mr. Nobody’ hitmaker however, has emphasized that his relationship with Prophet Shepherd Bushiri is still intact as his Spiritual leader.

“I must underline and emphasise that this move in my management does not change the relationship I have with my spiritual leader Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, As well as my membership to the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) The Jesus Nation Church,” he wrote.

As many Malawians were expecting a response from Bushiri as it was the case when veteran Musician cum-Pastor Macdonald Mlaka Maliro resigned from ECG Church, Major1 Records founder has opted for silence.

Meanwhile, debate has ensued on social media over a stand taken by ‘Panado’ hit maker.
