Burial of a police officer who was bunt in house in Nsanje set for today

The remains of Nsanje police officer Michael Phiri who was burnt in his house in the district will be buried today.

Nsanje Police public relations officer Agnes Zalakoma confirmed in an interview that his body will be laid to rest at Gomonda Village, Traditional Authority Njolomole in Ntcheu District.

Phiri was charred on Sunday night at Nsanje Police Lines.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
