Bullets chief administration officer Albert Chigoga said they feel honoured to take part in such a noble cause.

He said: “There are many students in public colleges that are struggling to raise fees. We are, therefore, asking our fans to patronise the match.”

Chigoga also said their technical panel will use the match to prepare for the TNM Super League second round as well as the FDH Bank Cup.

“It will also give the coaches an opportunity to assess other players apart from regulars,” he said.

Silver company secretary Peter Masiye also said they expect their fans to support the cause.

He said: “We are calling on our supporters to come and cheer their team, thereby supporting Nzika Foundation’s cause. It’s sad to see some students failing to finish their studies due to lack of fees. We, therefore, commend Nzika Foundation for their gesture.

“We also expect the coaches to use this match to assess the players in readiness for the second round.

“So, we are taking the match seriously.”

Nzika Foundation team leader Gift Nankhuni said preparations for the match are at an advanced stage.

Apart from the match, the foundation has also organised a music show at Bingu International Convention Centre to be headlined by Patience Namadingo. Eli Njuchi and Driemo will also perform.

Nankhuni said they are targeting to raise over K20 million.

For the match, a standard ticket is fetching K2 000, a seat in the comfort of a corporate box is at K10 000 while VIP ticket is at K5 000.

As for the music show, VIP tickets are selling at K25 000 while a standard ticket is at K15 000.
