Nyasa Big Bullets have started pre-sale of tickets for their CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg against Simba SC of Tanzania.
The match is scheduled for September 10 at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
The People’s Team chief administration officer Albert chigoga said in an interview yesterday that the standard ticket has been pegged at K3 000, but it will fetch K4 000 on match day.
Seats in the comfort of corporate boxes and VIP Stand are selling at K15 000 and K10 000, respectively while car pass is at K500.
Said Chigoga: “We are urging all those wishing to watch the match to buy the tickets in advance to avoid last minute hurdles.”
He said the tickets in Blantyre are selling at Limbe Market, Ndirande Energem and Wenela Puma Service Station.
In Liongwe, the tickets can be bought at Jack Shoppers, Acres Bar Gate Way Mall, Area 25 Chipiku Plus Store, Kanengo Puma, Area 18 Puma Service Station, City Centre Blue Wave, Likuni Energem, Kafoteka, Mbowe, Area 23 Puma, Kawale Energem, Walkers Total, Pa Matank and Maula Puma filling stations.
Chigoga said only tickets for corporate boxes and VIP can be accessed at Bingu National Stadium.
Meanwhile, Football Association of Malawi licensing and compliance manager Casper Jangale says CAF has approved that the stadium can fill to capacity.
“But it is on strict condition that measures that have been put in place, be it security on Covid-19, should be adhered to,” he said.
