Nyasa Big Bullets has reported to police and suspended its accountant Jeremiah Mwagomba following his alleged involvement in a plot to under declare gate revenue from their TNM Super League match against Mighty Wakawaka Tigers.
Mwagomba allegedly instructed gate management firm for the match Glory Gate Management director Gerald Mussa to under declare the gate revenue which was K10.8 million by K800 000.

Bullets announced the suspension of Mwagomba pending investigations yesterday during a press briefing held at their offices in Blantyre.
The club’s management, including chief executive officer Suzgo Nyirenda, director of finance Escort Chinula, director of supporters Stone Mwamadi, chief administration officer Albert Chigoga and supporters general secretary Archibald Kasakula addressed the presser.
Nyirenda read a statement which said the club had engaged authorities, including Super League of Malawi (Sulom), Football Association of Malawi and the police to take action against the suspects.
In an interview, Kasakula said the supporters were happy that the club had taken swift action on the matter.
He said: “We are glad that the revelations of this kind help to clean up the system. Bullets supporters should trust the system to sanitise the club of any elements that would water down the strides made in management of the club.
“We know the supporters are disappointed because they come to the stadium, pay at the gate only to hear that the money is going into someone’s pockets. We will work with the management to ensure that we get rid of this cartel.”
In his report to Sulom, Mussa said Mwagomba instructed him to ensure they falsify the gate revenue.
Mwagomba was not available for comment yesterday.
