President Chakwera has appointed Brigadier General Kalumo(Rtd) as Director General for the Department of Immigration and Citizenship Services.

Minister of Information and Digitalization Gospel Kazako has confirmed of the development in a short statement posted on his official facebook page.

“His Excellency the State President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera has appointed Brigadier General Kalumo(Rtd) as Director General for the Department of Immigration and Citizenship Services,” reads in part the statement.

The appointment is with immediate effect.
