The Senior Resident Magistrate’s Court in Mangochi has started hearing of case in which activist Bon Kalindo is accused of proposing violence during the November 30 demonstrations.

The state is currently parading witnesses in the court.

Meanwhile, the court is yet to also make a ruling as to whether Kalindo should be released on bail, as the trial continues.

Kalindo was arrested on Friday last week in Zomba and was transferred to Mangochi.
