A seventy one-year-old grandmother of Lusaka’s Meanwood-Ibex suburb has died after being mauled to death by her son’s three boerboel dogs.

The deceased who has been identified as Emma Musonda Makungu was reported to have relocated to Lusaka from Luanshya and had come to live with her son Lukonde Makungu whose dogs killed her.

When contacted for a comment, police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale confirmed the incident which occurred in the early hours of the 24th May 2022.

Mr Mwale said the matter was reported to Ibex police station by a niece.
