The body of Mrs Lizzie Vachhan, mother in-law to former President of the United Democratic Front (UDF) Atupele Muluzi, will arrive in the country on Thursday from India.

The young Muluzi has confirmed of the development in a funeral program posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.

According to Muluzi, the body of Mrs Vachhan will arrive in the country through Chaleka Airport and it will be taken to Mthunzi Mortuary.

“From Mthunzi the body will be taken to Vachhani’s residence in BCA Hill on 8th September 2022 at 3:30pm where it will Lay in state,” reads in part the statement.

The body of Mrs Vachhan will be laid to rest on Friday at Misesa Cemetery.
