Blantyre Police have arrested Andrew Chimtengo, 32, and Fransisco Lazalo, 24, for breaking into F&M Motors and stealing property worth over K13 million.
Deputy Public Relations Officer Ivy Mwalabu stated that criminals attacked the guards and broke into the company’s office, making off with various items, including laptops, desktop computers, an iPhone, and office documents.
These suspects are also linked to robberies at Ginnery Corner and Opco Offices, where they allegedly stole four tipper batteries worth approximately K1.4 million.
Investigations are ongoing to apprehend any accomplices and recover the remaining stolen items.
